Irregular menstruation may indicate a condition or stage of disease. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somchai Thanawatanacharoen, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, recommends a checklist to see if your menstruation is normal or not.

- Menstrual blood
should be red in color and not hardened or clotted. - The amount of menstrual flow
is usually 30-80 ml./time, which varies from person to person. It is recommended to observe the amount from the number of sanitary pads used. If there are any changes, please record them. - Number of days of menstruation.
Normally, menstruation will occur for about 3-7 days per time. It should be observed and recorded to monitor for abnormalities. - The average menstrual cycle length
is approximately 28 days, and may be within 7 days or less, counting from the first ยูฟ่าเบท day of your period to the first day of your next period.
Symptoms that may occur during menstruation
- Bloating
- Swollen body
- Breast squeezing
- backache
- In some cases, migraines may also occur.
If you notice any changes in the nature, amount or frequency of your menstrual periods, or if you experience other symptoms that interfere with your daily life or cause discomfort, you should consult your gynecologist for further diagnosis.
